Innovation in Lithuania – long Brånemark System® Zygoma implants are created. Thanks to them, it is possible to restore teeth successfully and quickly even to those individuals who are in a very difficult condition – the upper jaw is disappeared so that there is almost no place where the implant can be screwed. Brånemark System® Zygoma implants prevent bone augmentation – the teeth are restored within a short period of time and the patient avoids additional unpleasant procedures.
The jawbone may be destroyed when removable dentures are worn for a long time or bridges are attached to healthy teeth. Some of the jaws may be lost due to oncological diseases of the face, trauma or other physiological causes. Traditionally, extension of the jaw bone is recommended for patients with a defective upper jaw. It is a rather complicated, more difficult-to-control procedure requiring special care and longer healing time. Brånemark System® Zygoma implants were designed to minimize dental restoration time and avoid unpleasant interventions.
